Submitting The Site To Google;
Follow the below steps;
- Go to this link.(open in a new tab/window)
- Sign in with your google account.
- After the site loads you will be seeing like below;
- There type in your URL in this format ; http://bishalblogs.blogspot.com
- Then type the captcha properly and click on Submit Request.
Now, your site is properly submitted to google. Give google some time (hardly up to 1 week) and after that search your site. You can find that your site is already listed in google.
NOTE; While entering the URL type in your homepage URL. After you submit your site once there's no need to submit again as the spiders will crawl through each and every post and pages.
Troubleshoot Method;
After you submitted your site also if you cannot find it in google search results page after a long time we have to understand that google's spider has failed to crawl. So now we will use the troubleshoot method. In this method we will be submitting the sitemap. Follow below steps;
- Sign in to your google webmaster tools.
- Then click on your site.
- Click on optimization on the left side.
- There click on sitemaps>Add/Test Sitemaps.
- Click on it and type in your sitemap endings.
- The site map of every blogger is "http://yourblogurl.blogspot.com/sitemap.xml"
- So you just need to type "sitemap.xml" because your URL is already there.
- But if your site isn't a blog then type in the sitemap given by your host.
